Chef Christopher Hounsell hails from Corner Brook but has recently returned to St. John's after 20 years spent in Toronto. A graduate of George Brown College Culinary School, Chris spent his early career cooking at several notable 5-star restaurants in Toronto, including his most recent stint as Executive Chef at the famed Bistro 990 where he cooked for many well known celebrities (Hint: Google Meg Ryan Chicken). Chef Chris is thrilled to be back on "The Rock", cooking for friends, family and visitors from all over the world and helping to build the vibrant local culinary scene.
Chef Chris Hounsell is new to hotels but, more importantly, he can cook. Really cook.
